Darasun

 

an urban-type settlement in Karymskoe Raion. Chita Oblast, RSFSR. Located on the Ingoda River (the Amur basin). The town’s railway station is 65 km southeast of Chita. Population, 10.000 (1970). The town contains a mining equipment plant. A health resort settlement. Kurort-Darasun, is located 65 km south of Darasun.
