Delano, William Adams
Delano, William Adams(1874–1960) architect; born in New York City. His New York partnership with Chester Holmes Aldrich (1903–41) was noted for designing private estates for wealthy clients. Delano received the American Institute of Architects Gold Medal (1953).

American architect with Chester Holmes Aldrich (1871–1940); designed estates for wealthy owners. Also designed the Walters Art Gallery in Baltimore, in 1910; John D. Rockefeller House, Pocantico Hills, NY, in 1908; and La Guardia Air Terminal in Queens, NY, 1940.
