Dellinger effect

i. The attenuation of signal strength to very low values (below receiver noise level) that make them indiscernible. The opposite is build.
ii. The decrease in the amount of braking because of either overheating after prolonged and continuous or harsh braking or internal leakages in the system. Also called fading, fadeout, Dellinger effect, or Mögel-Dellinger effect.


Fadeout due to interference between waves which have traveled different distance as well as due to disturbed ionosphere.
A type of fading in which the received signal strength is reduced to a value below the noise level of the receiver. The most common cause of fadeout is a disturbed ionosphere. Also called a radio fadeout, Dellinger effect, or Mögel-Dellinger effect.
