Depression Modern style
Depression Modern style(1935–1945)
Designs from the decade of the Great Depression are represented in this style, which marked a reaction against the Art Deco style. It was characterized by simplicity, smoothness of forms, clarity of line, horizontality, streamlining and functional expressiveness.
