Dipterex

 

trademark for the insecticide trichlorfon, CCl3CH(OH)P(O)(CH3)2. Dipterex acts against a broad range of ectoparasites of farm animals, harmful house insects, and crop pests. It is moderately toxic to humans and animals.

The insecticides of various natures like dipterex, triazophos, imidacloprid, and neem products are in notable use for the management of fruit flies.
