Dolobskii Congress of 1103

 

a congress of Russian princes. In that year the Kievan prince Sviatopolk Iziaslavich and the Pereiaslav prince Vladimir Vsevolodovich Monomakh and their druzhiny (armed detachments) met at Dolobskoe Lake near Kiev to organize a joint campaign against the Polovtsy (Cumans).
