Durun
(Kuu, Bahardan), a subterranean lake in the foothills of the Kopet Dagh. The lake is located in the deep Durun Cave. Area, approximately 3,000 sq m, maximum depth, 13 m. The water smells strongly of hydrogen sulfide, and its temperature is 35°-37°C.
