The modem provides standard MIL-STD-188-114 (EIA-530 / RS-422) and EIA-613 (HSSI) serial interfaces, and can be optionally configured to support G.703 and Low Voltage Differential Signaling (LVDS) serial interfaces.
According to the company, the modem provides standard MIL-STD-188-114 (EIA-530 / RS-422) and EIA-613 (HSSI) serial interfaces and can be optionally configured to support G.703 and Low Voltage Differential Signaling (LVDS) serial interfaces; optionally equipped with a 4-port 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet Network Processor module that supports switching, routing and advanced Quality of Service protocols; and integrated with the Vipersat Management System (VMS) to provide fully automated network and capacity management.
Interface standards X.21, V.24, V.35, RS-449, RS-485, EIA-530 and EIA-530A are supported.
Each LCE-16 module provides for up to 16 software-selectable asynchronous and/or synchronous circuits operating between 75 bps and 64 kbps over EIA-232, X.21, V.35, or EIA-530 interfaces.
The model 29-1 can also be used for the new EIA-530 interface and MIL-STD-188-114.
