Provides support to creative individuals for their work on ecologically linked issues. Projects include the John Muir Project, International Marine Mammal Project, Brower Fund, Reef Protection International, Global Service Corps, and the Campaign to Safeguard America's Waters. Members: 7,500. Dues: $25/year; $15/year for students and low-income members.
Publications: Earth Island Journal (quarterly); free to members, $15/year for nonmembers.
