The history of the rivers and the role they played in the Lewis and Clark Expedition are interpreted at the park in outdoor exhibits, and a short trail takes visitors to the confluence point. Future plans for the park include restoration of a natural floodplain, which will emphasize native vegetation and natural wetlands suitable for the site's current soil, topography, and hydrology.
