Electronic Computer GlossaryThe name of the floppy disk version of The Computer Glossary, the origin of this encyclopedia. Electronic Computer Glossary was first available for DOS in 1990 and then Windows in 1991. A Macintosh HyperCard stack was also introduced in 1990, which did not last long.
The CD-ROM version became Computer Desktop Encyclopedia in 1996 to coincide with the publishing of its book counterpart. See About this encyclopedia and ComputerLanguage.com.
