Elektricheskaia i Teplovoznaia Tiaga

 

(Electric and Diesel Traction), a monthly industrial and engineering magazine; an organ of the Ministry of Railroads of the USSR. Founded in 1956 in Moscow, it is intended for locomotive motormen and their assistants, maintenance workers, and senior technical personnel of railroad transport and subways. It features the newest information on the operation and maintenance of locomotives, electric and diesel trains, traction substations, and contact systems, as well as articles related to problems of introducing new technology and articles on traffic safety. Circulation, 133,000 (1978).
