ECC

(1) See elliptic curve cryptography.

(2) (Error-Correcting Code, Error-Correction Code) A software algorithm that is used to correct errors in memory and storage devices, as well as in transmission systems. Error-correcting code detects and corrects errors in real time. See ECC memory.
