an urban-type settlement; the center of Emil’chino Raion, Zhitomir Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. It is situated on the Ubort’ River (Dnieper basin), 23 km from the lablonets railroad station on the Korosten’-Shepetovka line. Emil’chino has a plant for drying vegetables, a primary flax treatment plant, and food enterprises. [9.23414]
