Englebright, Harry (Lane)

(1884–1943) U.S. representative; born in Nevada City, Calif. A mining engineer with the California Conservation Commission, he served in the U.S. House of Representatives (Rep., Cal.; 1926–43), and as minority whip (1933–43).
