Environmental management plan

A management and communication process to enable the range of environmental aspects and impacts of a given activity, whether a design process, a project, or consultancy or corporate operation, to be systematically considered, addressed, monitored, and reviewed to ensure compliance with regulatory, project, and organizational environmental requirements, policies, and objectives. It is a tool that is used to manage environmental risks and issues on a project. The effectiveness of the plan is dependent on the commitment of management to follow the plan and on how well it is written and understood by construction personnel.
