Erythrospermum

 

a variety of soft wheat with a white awned spike and red grain. Erythrospermum is one of the most common wheat varieties in the world. Spring (Erythrospermum-841, Bezenchukskaia 98) and winter (Odesskaia-16, Kooperatorka) forms are cultivated in the USSR.
