Ethylmorphine Hydrochloride

 

(also Codethyline, Dionin), a drug similar in its effects to codeine. It is usually taken internally in the form of powders or tablets to reduce the coughing that accompanies many ailments, such as chronic bronchitis. It is also used in ophthalmology in the form of drops and ointments.
