Eurybathic Animal

 

an aquatic animal capable of existing at various depths. Eurybathic animals include benthic animals whose area of distribution ranges over various vertical zones, as well as pelagic animals that make extensive vertical migrations. Eurybathic animals are contrasted with stenobathic animals. Many eurybathic animals are widely distributed and are some times even cosmopolitan.
