Eurypontidai

 

a dynasty that reigned in Sparta from the llth (according to legend) to the second century B.C., simultaneously with the Agidai dynasty. The Eurypontidai, who were considered to be descendants of the legendary king Eurypontid, included the kings Agesilaus II, Agis II and Agis IV, and Archidamus.
