Evans, Robley (Dunglison)

(1846–1912) naval officer; born in Floyd Court House, Va. Known as "Fighting Bob," he was commander of the Atlantic Fleet (1905–07). He commanded the first segment of the round-the-world cruise of the American battle fleet (1907–08).
