An ARM-based octa-core system-on-chip (SoC) from Samsung introduced in 2013. For greater efficiency, it employs four pairs of high/low-power cores. Within each core pair, either the big or little core is used depending on the processing demand at the moment. See Exynos and big.LITTLE.
