FOSI
(Family Online Safety Institute, Washington, DC, www.fosi.org) An international, non-profit organization launched in 2007 to promote online safety awareness for children, while protecting freedom of speech and expression on the Internet. FOSI folded the Internet Content Rating Association (ICRA) and its content labeling work into the new institute with the intent to deepen the roles of public education, technology companies, as well as government policy makers in keeping kids safe online.
