tetralogy of Fallot[tə′träl·ə·jē əv fa′lō]
A congenital abnormality of the heart consisting of pulmonary stenosis, defect of the interventricular septum, hypertrophy of the right ventricle, and overriding or dextroposition of the aorta. Also known as tetrad of Fallot.
