Faye's comet

(fayz) A comet with a coma that increased in size as it approached the Sun. Most comets, Encke being a typical example, have comas that decrease as they near the Sun. Between 1843 and 1955 Faye's brightness decreased from 4.2 to 11.1 magnitudes.
