a small sailing ship made for navigating coastal waters. It is used in the Mediterranean, Black, Azov, Caspian, and Aral seas and in the Sea of Azov for the transport of freight or for fishing. The felucca is lateen-rigged in the Mediterranean Sea and has a trapezoid-shaped sail in the Black, Caspian, and Aral seas and in the Sea of Azov, and it is often equipped with a motor as well.
