Finish carpentry

A term applied to practically all finish work performed by a carpenter, except that classed as rough finish. It includes installing casings, laying finish flooring, stairs, fitting and hanging doors, fitting and setting windows, and installing baseboards and other finish material.

The craft of woodworking by joining pieces of wood, esp. of the finish and trim workings of the interior of a structure, such as doors, paneling, sashes, etc., as distinguished from carpentry, which suggests framing and rough work.
