Fornax system

A dwarf elliptical galaxy in the Local Group, about 460,000 light-years (2.7 × 1018 miles or 4.4 × 1018 kilometers) distant, having a diameter of about 1600 light-years (9 × 1015 miles or 1.5 × 1016 kilometers) and a mass and luminosity about 7 × 106 that of the sun.
