Location:In Kalamazoo County, between Battle Creek and Kalamazoo, off M-96 via I-94 Exit 92.
Facilities:219 modern campsites (é), organization campground, 3 rustic cabins, 2 mini-cabins (é), picnic area, shelter (é), multi-use trails (25 miles), beach house (é), boat launch sites (é), fishing pier (é), snowmobile area.
Activities:Camping, fishing, boating, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, dog sledding, hunting, interpretive programs.
Special Features:Park's terrain is typical of southern Michigan farm country, with second growth forests and remnant areas of prairie. Praire restoration is in progress with excellent results. The area features three lakes, the Kalamazoo River, and an excellent trail system, and is considered one of the best mountain biking areas in the Midwest.
