Peruvian-born American architect who with his wife, the U.S. born Lauinda Hope-Spear (1950 ) established the architectural firm Arquitectonica (1977). Among their best-known work is the Atlantis Condominium, Miami (1985) and multipurpose hotel and entertainment developent in the Times Square area of New York City (2001).
