Fuenteovejuna(both: fwān`tā ōvāho͞o`nä), town (1990 pop. 6,833), Córdoba prov., S Spain, in Andalusia. An important farm center with livestock-raising and food-processing industries, the town is especially noted for its honey. Lumber, coal, and lead are exploited in the area.
