Galaxy Fold

Samsung's first foldable smartphone expected in 2019. Using a flexible OLED screen, the Fold is a 4.6" phone for making calls but opens into a 7" tablet. Initially available from AT&T and T-Mobile, the Fold is the most expensive smartphone on the market with an expected retail of just under USD $2000. The Galaxy Fold was initially set to be released on April 26, but tech reviewers, including at CNBC, found the phone broke easily.
The Galaxy Fold combines a single screen like that of a traditional smartphone, but can also be unfolded to reveal a larger, tablet-sized screen inside the device.
Samsung Electronics Co Ltd's (005930.KS) first foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Fold, will go on sale from September in selected markets after the launch was delayed by screen problems earlier this year, the company said on Thursday.
