Aksenenok, Georgii Aleksandrovich


Born Nov. 18, 1910, in Polotsk. Soviet lawyer. Corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (1966); specialist in the field of land and kolkhoz law. Member of the CPSU since 1930.

Aksenenok is a state councillor of justice, third class, and has been the director of a section at the Institute of State and Law of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR since 1955. His basic works are The Right of State Ownership of Land in the USSR (1950), Legal Land Relationships in the USSR (1958), and The Legal Status of the Kolkhozes in the USSR (1963). He has been awarded two orders.
