Gideon, Sigfried

(1888–1968)
Swiss art historian who became a powerful advocate of the Modern movement and with Le Corbusier, was a founder in CIAM. His book, Space, Time, and Architecture, written in 1941, was fashionable in schools of architecture. He also wrote several other books on architecture.
