Gidrougol’

 

(full name, the All-Union Scientific Research and Construction Planning Institute of Hydraulic Coal Mining; NIIGidrougol’), organized in Novokuznetsk, Kemerovo Oblast, in 1955. The major subjects of the institute are the creation and perfection of techniques and technology of underground coal mining using hydraulic methods. The institute has a composite structure and includes scientific and planning sections, an experimental plant, mine assembly management of the initial stages of mining operations, and a computer center. It has been publishing Trudy since 1962.
