Globino

 

an urban-type settlement; administrative center of Globino Raion, Poltava Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. Railroad station on the Romodan-Kremenchug line. Population, 13,000 (1970). There is a sugar refinery, a vegetable-canning plant, a plant for the grading of seeds, and a creamery.
