Golden Hill State Park
Location:On Lower Lake Road, off Route 269, in Barker, via Route 18 or 104.
Facilities:Tent and trailer campsites, showers (é), vacation rental, picnic area, picnic pavilion (é), playground, playing fields, hiking and nature trails, snowmobile trails (5 miles), boat launch.
Activities:Camping, boating (including powerboats), fishing, hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, small game and waterfowl hunting in season.
Special Features:Thirty Mile Lighthouse, built in 1875, is part of the park. The lighthouse, which once provided family living quarters for keepers and their families, is available for vacation rental.
