Location:10 miles east of Washington off US 264.
Facilities:12 primitive campsites, picnic area, picnic shelters, trails, boat ramp, visitor center, exhibit hall.
Activities:Camping, boating, canoeing, sailing, river fishing, swimming, windsurfing, hiking, nature programs.
Special Features:Park includes two marsh and swamp observation decks along the Pamlico River. Its visitor center includes interactive wetland exhibits.
