Gorskoe

 

a town (from 1938) in Voroshilovgrad Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, 4 km from the Shipilovo railroad station (on the Rodakovo-Krasnyi Liman line). Population, 16,000 (1970). Coal-mining industry, a concentrating mill, and a grain combine are located there.

In August 1865, with the formation of the Caucasus Military District, this chancellery was renamed the Caucasus Mountain Administration (Kavkazskoe gorskoe upravlenie), and in 1880, by order of the Caucasus Army, it was renamed the Caucasus Military-Civil Administration.
