Griliches, (Hirsh) Zvi

(1930–  ) economist; born in Lithuania. Educated in the U.S.A., his contributions include work in econometric methods, agricultural economics, and the economics of technological change. He taught at the University of Chicago (1956–69) before joining the faculty at Harvard (1969).
