Groznenskii Rabochii

 

(The Groznyï Worker), the Russian-language republic newspaper of the Chechen-Ingush ASSR. The paper is published six times a week in Groznyi. When it was founded in 1917 it was called Tovarishch, but later the name was changed several times. The newspaper has been issued under its present name since 1924. Groz-nenskii rabochii has been awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor. In 1971 its circulation was 110,000.
