Hangchou Wan

 

a bay of China on the East China Sea. Hangchou Wan measures 150 km in length and approximately 110 km in width at the entrance. It has depths to 13 m. The Choushan Archipelago is situated at the entrance to the bay. The Fuch-un Chiang empties into Hangchou Wan. The large port of Hangcho is situated on the bay.
