Haskell, Norman (Abraham)

(1905–70) seismologist; born in Alton, Ill. He was a U.S. Air Force research scientist who specialized in underwater ballistics and deformation of granitic rocks. He served as a technical adviser to the U.S. delegation at the Geneva Conference (1968).
