Hawn State Park
Location:I-55 south from Saint Louis to Exit 150, then 11 miles west on Highway 32 in Sainte Genevieve County.
Facilities:19 basic campsites, 26 electric campsites, 5 walk-in campsites, showers, special use area, picnic sites, picnic shelter, hiking and backpacking trails.
Activities:Camping, stream fishing, hiking, backpacking, birdwatching, nature study.
Special Features:Park is one of Missouri's loveliest, with lush stands of native pines and hardwoods as well as a generous amount of flowering dogwood, redbud, and wild azalea. Other natural features include sandstone bluffs and canyons, clear sand-bottom streams, and a wide variety of rock types.
