Hayes, (Robert Lee) Bob

(1942–  ) track and field athlete, football player; born in Jacksonville, Fla. A gold medal winner in the 100 meter and 4 × 100 meter relay in the 1964 Olympics, he starred as a pass receiver and kickoff return specialist for the National Football League Dallas Cowboys (1965–74) and San Francisco 49ers (1975).
