Hazard, Geoffrey C., Jr.

(1929–  ) legal scholar; born in Cleveland, Ohio. He taught at the University of California: Berkeley (1958–64), the University of Chicago (1964–71), and Yale (1971). His interest was in civil procedure, legal ethics, and the sociology of law. His major publications are Ethics in Practice of Law (1978) and Law and Ethics of Lawyering (with S. Koniak) (1990).
