Holon
(hōlôn`), city (1994 pop. 163,700), W central Israel. Manufactures include textiles, metal and leather goods, processed foods, furniture, glassware, plastics, and construction materials. a city in Israel, a southern suburb of Tel Aviv. Population, 114,000 (1975). Holon produces textiles, leather goods, and metal goods. The city has a cottage industry that produces silver articles.
