Hordeiform
a kind of durum wheat with red aristate, glabrous spikes, and white grain. In the USSR the most widely found spring and summer types of hordeiform are Kharkov 46 and Narodnaia, which have grain with good macaroni qualities; of the winter varieties, Sevindzh is most common.
