Hunboldt Glacier

 

a glacier in the northwestern part of Greenland that descends from the internal ice cover to Peabody Bay in Kane Basin. It is about 100 km wide at the front. The glacier was discovered in 1854 by the American E. K. Kane. It was named in honor of A. Humboldt.
