Location:In Huntington Beach, opposite Magnolia Avenue on Pacific Coast Highway.
Facilities:Picnic areas, beach, multi-use trails, food service, beach access ramp, restrooms (é).
Activities:Camping, surf fishing, swimming, surfing, windsurfing, hiking, skating, bicycling.
Special Features:Beach is the site of a nesting sanctuary for the California least tern, a rare and endangered species, and the threatened snowy plover. A bike trail connects Huntington State Beach to Bolsa Chica State Beach (see separate entry), forming five miles of sandy beach.
